With the iPad you will still need your computer after all

The iPad is long long awaited device from Apple since Newton (PDA). I’s been rumored to do about virtually anything a netbook or computer does. It happens that this device is way far from the netbook category and here’s why:

- The iPad doesn’t do video conferencing, so forget the iChat mock-up pictures circulating around the web.

- This device doesn’t do multitasking and that means you can’t call with Skype while you’re working on spreadsheet or streaming last.fm

- $499 for a 16Gigs of storage which doesn’t beat the netbook.  It’s good to know that you can buy a netbook with 160Gigs of hard drive fully capable of video conferencing and multitasking for half the price of course it will be running Windows 7 or Linux.

- One last thing but no the least. There is no Finder or File explorer then exploring files other than photos or videos is impossible that means you will always need your computer after all!!
